user interface - complete redesign this week.
Let me see about lowering the minimum
conversion on clicks so that you can stay
per click even if you send poor traffic. I
assume you also know that it takes a few
days to weeks before some people pay
for their membership so a good test is
about 1 month of traffic. Do you REALLY
need weekly payouts? As we have to
personally review each account we pay, it
takes about a week to review the thousands
of webmasters we send checks to. Personals
is not like paysites where guys just look and
pay... we have to review their profile, give
them service, etc.

And I've NEVER heard of freind finder EVER letting ANYONE use their database for spam - for any reason. Guys in the know in this biz have an ongoing joke about friend finder - they are like a black hole - anything that goes into there - STAYS there FOREVER.

consider this - there is better than a 50% chance than ANYONE who lives in california with an income over $50,000 will get sued within a couple year period.

name ONE cororation with 100+ employess in california that has operated for 10 years in california and HASN"t been sued for SOMETHING. it's a scarry place to do business. EVERYONE sues EVERYONE there for anyting - valid or not. it's a way of life there.

Yes, I realize the issues you have to deal with -- fraud -- hackers... but really the weekly or twice monthly payouts make the difference. Lots of guys use this money to pay rent -- so let's say Joe Webmaster gets paid $500 twice a month -- and he's counting on that money to pay the bills -- now that sponsor starts shaving or stops updating the tour or whatever -- sponsors go to crap all the time -- now he's got to find another sponsor that pays twice a month, or weekly... if he goes to a monthly sponsor like some IBill crap or DeluxePass, now he's got maybe 30-45 days with no big check... You might say -- well it's best to use lots of sponsors to even it all out -- but really most guys that do trading/bookmark sites (like movieposts) -- they only have time to maintain one site -- most webmasters I know still only work one site at a time -- and usually there is a primary ad position -- the top of the page... and that is always the breadwinner... nobody is going to take a chance to make you the primary ad for a month waiting for these slow surfers if they depend on their sites for month-to-month income... but think about it -- most freesite guys wouldn't be busting balls updating thumbs and gallery descriptions unless they needed the cash pretty badly because it's boring ass work... hehe but I suppose that's not really your problem -- maybe from your standpoint it doesn't matter -- the result is lots of guys sprinkle your links through the pages and you end up getting exposure to all the surfers anyway... I really just don't see how bookmark/trading based freesites can make you the primary sponsor (like amateur pages, nastydollars, etc. commonly are)... unless the advertiser takes a SleazyDream type of approach... If that really is the best advertising approach to send the most traffic, why not work on some content that we could integrate into our sites -- I think an IFriends ad model would work better for you -- instaead of "I'm a [Man] looking for a [Woman]" deal which is so old... and these dating script sources are now freeware... Maybe do some geotargeting to find the hottest female in the surfer's area and use THAT as an ad with an img src=blahblah.cgi... that would be very fucking cool... Actually I have way better ideas but I'm saving them for a rainy day

aff has NEVER played any credit card games. they have a REAL product and are HONEST people. no trials - a full signup. Only REAL, honest companies can get away with that for YEARS.
They don't use 3rd party processing - they do all processing inhouse. NO games. the members you send them WON't GET the shit spammed outa them like soo many other 3rd party processors do to yoru clients.

If you've never sued someone or haven't been sued yourself, you're not a player.

I forget the exact statistics, but the top 50 largest corporations on the Fortune 500 each get somewhere around 100 lawsuits every day served on them.

Bottom line, you can't run a big operation of any kind and not expect to get sued sooner or later, even if its a frivolious lawsuit with no merit.

For some reason the title graphic in my stats interface and various graphs do not load properly or load with errors.

Also, the subaccount stats summary page is often incorrect.

Lastly, I'd also like to be able to get credit for the "Also check out" links in the lower right.

I think overalll, an unabridged version of the "Affiliate Hints and Tips" is in order!

regarding reduction in percentage upfront to allow rebillings basically comes down to what will make me more money in the long term obviously.. Simply if the option was there I'd try it and see how it goes, although if it was less than 40% upfront I'd be a bit more hesitant

How about more frequent payouts for larger volume accounts that have a good track record with you?

I used them for quite a while a few years ago and did really well.

They were my favorite sponsor by far.

Then, they cancelled my account for spamming....even though the only place I ever used them was on my TGP and I never spammed them a day in my life.

I was quite pissed to say the least because I was owed a few grand.

I'm sure they just got their lines crossed somewhere, and I have no doubt they are a good sponsor that pays, but I personally haven't used them since.

And for those of you who will say "ya right man, sponsors don't cancel your account unless you were doing something wrong.".....I have three words for you. I'll give you the first letter of each word.....G...F...Y.

See that is the shit I was talking about BULLSHIT

As many people know or maybe not...but in general friend finder has approved checks by the 5th of each month and I recieve it mine no later than the 18th....usually 15th

but this month I had a problem...on the 9th the check still were not approved...normally would not be a problem but my wife and I had plan a vacation to florida...already got our condo on the beach for 10 days and plan on leaving on the 18th so I freaked because I wanted to have everything wrap up before we left.

I e-mail friend finder....and they gladly 1 day me my check...thank you friend finder
