Cup protection for guys can't hurt. I'd recommend it .. acutally NOT wearing one could hurt
For the rest I'd say old clothes .. like old jeans or whatever you feel comfortable in. And a sweater ... depending on the weather it can be thicker. Oh and robust shoes.
The clothes usually get dirty so don't bring your designer dress
