Just got this email from PSW:
It has been brought to our attention that your account has accrued a high
chargeback rate relative to its sales volume. Over the past 90 days, your
account has had activity as follows:
Total Sales: $*
Chargebacks: $* (11.3% of total sales)
The credit card companies require us to keep chargeback rates below 2% at
all times. Furthermore, most of our clients maintain a chargeback rate
below 1% of total sales. Unfortunately, accounts with high chargeback
rates
make it difficult for us to provide reliable service for the rest of our
clients.
Therefore, at the request of our acquiring bank, your account will stop
processing through us on Monday, July 14. At that point, all rebills will
be marked for expiration and payouts will be held until such time as we can
ascertain the effect of future chargebacks on your account balance and
reserve withholding. It is suggested that you take the intervening time to
explore alternate processing arrangements so that you may minimize any
period of processing interruption.
Regretfully,
Jeff Dean

Ironic thing is that psw is my backup, and I've had..oh 10 sales total or so in the last 6 months through them, but a 11% cancellation rate. Weird thing is this: PSW has been having problems issuing ACTUAL id/pws to the signups. I get emails saying "My id/pw is BLANK..how can I log in?" I look, and indeed this is true! So, the customer just asks for a credit back, and they get it. But it goes on my account as a CHARGEBACK!
how fucked up is this? Luckily I don't have that many customers through PSW.
