Well after many many MANY( I say it three times cause beleive me I called and asked as many questions as I could to be sure . ) , conversations with various morons over at paypal , and being reassured at lease fifteen times that My paypal account was fine to process design work ..

They shut me down ..

big thumbs up to paypal for great merchant support and pure bullshit lies .. and a bigger thumbs up to me .. for believing these idiots

LOL .. the best part I got the email just as I uploaded my fresh design site and had finally cleared my schedule , Was all excited to take on some new clients and now I have no processor ....

Making arrangements now .. but the whole thing sucks ass .

Paypal sucks! My account was verified but it was not activated because i don;t live in the US anymore. So they have my account number, CC number and i cannot close the account because it's not activated and i can't use it because of the same reason. Catch 22?

Paypal doesn't have to know you are using them to sell adult design work. Set up a small mainstream design site as a front, and tell them that is your site. Simple as that.

I am not saying that this site has any real info, but tkae a look at paypalsucks.com

They have an article from a lady where paypal cleaned out her checking account, after limiting her paypal account. Supposedly they took like 3,500$.

They froze 55$ in mine and I have yet to see it.

We contacted them , provided all info they needed .
They told us to remove All mentions from our sites .
I did so within 5 minutes and called them again .. and THEN they tell me they are going to hold on to the funds that were in there for 180 days ,

Now I only do design .. and all payments were by paypal, they got me good .. I wonder if Ill ever see the cash ..

There-in lies the biggest problem of all. Ebay owns paypal and will do anything it can to make it a "family" style site. They got the auction monopoly, now they want the online money transfer monopoly.
