I have been shooting a whole new generation of Blood Dolls girls, to add to the existing line-up. Along the way, I've been wondering which of the new girls are going to be most popular.

Goth chicks are so nasty to me. I like the alternative tattooed and pierced. But the pale white chicks with black nails and shit or whatever just doesn't do it for me. That's just a personal pref though ,I know there are plenty of guys and gals into the goth thing.

I consider these girls all to be on the "goth" side of the alternative spectrum, but none of them match anything about your list of features except for "pale". So that makes me wonder... Looking at these pics, how did you vote?

I am actually surprised how well she is doing. I posted a few of her unprocessed pics right after her shoot, and people said that while they loved her body, she wasn't good looking. I got the impression she wasn't well-received. Now she's kicking butt in this poll.

Angie is an odd one, in terms of popularity. In terms of comments from the other models, Vail, etc. everyone says she is the prettiest Blood Doll by far... She gets moe positive comments than most of the girls. What is weird is that, despite that, she has bombed on my site poll, and content sales of her have been ho-hum.

In my opinion, that pic was one of the more flattering pics I have of Delirium, that shows her face. (I wanted all the pics to be similarly revealing and show the model's face and hair.)

As for Zoso... I happen to prefer thinner girls, like Delirium and Shadow Jen... However, Zoso has a very similar figure and look to our most popular model, GemmyC, and frankly even with a little padding even I find her very attractive.

Anyhow, a variety of images always helps. Given the comments here, it sounds like maybe more pics would help... So here's round 2.

I don't think Angie was in fewer revealing and nude pics than many of my other models. (Like many, her boundary is "classical nudes".) Maybe I chose my samples in a way that gave that impression, though. Hmm...

I love that gallery design, by the way. With her personal site converting at 1:200 overall since launch, I suspect that gallery could do really with with serious traffic.

I'm glad I made this poll-- Whenever the results of something like this are a surprise, it means I'm learning something.

A few thoughts...

First, I would be interested to hear comments from the people who made sweepingly negative votes. What don't you like about these three girls?

Second, I wonder how these results will compare to the poll on Blood Dolls, when the new version of that poll including these girls goes online.

Third, I wonder how much the voting was influenced by the choices of photos I made. A better photo of a less attractive model can get more votes, after all.

I'd love more comments on why people made the choices they did in this. I could learn a lot from more qualatative answers. (Thanks to everyone who already explained their votes!)

You answered your own question. Informal polling isn't real market research, and as such isn't worth paying for. You get to see pics of naked girls, and comment if you feel like it. Seems a fair trade to me. ;)

Also, something to consider-- My sites are not only selling to goths, nor indeed only people who are heavily into goth. I can convert well if I can make the general surfers who wander in sign up too. So, while I mostly want to cater to my target market, having general feedback can't hurt either.

I think it is your erotic photography talent what sells and makes the models Goth or "only" unusal teenies fitting the teen fetish category sometimes in leather etc.

I think part of this result comes from the fact that Delirium has such a fantastic body that her best shots are really amazing. Zoso, on the other hand, has far more "best" shots-- but the only way to know that would be to see the entire collection.
