The United States has by far the largest number of publicly owned firearms in the world and is approaching the point where there is one gun for every American, according to the Small Arms Survey 2003 released Tuesday. But in surprise findings, the survey found that Europeans are more heavily armed than commonly believed while there are far fewer small arms in Afghanistan and sub-Saharan Africa than previously estimated...

Why is everyone outside of America so concerned about OUR guns? Maybe they should buy few to handle their friggin problems we always seem to have to send our guns to handle for them.

Who cares? As long as the majority (read: almost ALL) of us don't use the guns illegally, what does it really matter?

I love how people always argue for rights to use drugs because "they don't cause any harm, only the fucked up users do", but yet they don't think guns fall under the same classification. I don't get it...

I knife in the hand of a person who knows how to use it is much deadlier than a gun.

I knew this polish guy a few years back that could throw a knife from about 40 metres and kill a rabbit on the run.. And i have trouble shooting a rabbit with a scoped rifle let alone a knife.

Guns dont mean you are safe. Heaven forbid anyone who comes into my house thats armed.. They will get one big fucking surprise and i dont have any guns in my house

A couple of days ago I was harassed by a man while finishing my daily jog. What I did was rather than walking the last half mile of my run was to run faster and not let the asshole know where I live.

I can legally carry a gun in my state and few others. Yes I was upset about the asshole who ?blew? my workout for me and scared me, but after my workout I didn?t get in my car and hunt him down because of the incident.

Odd that you think anyone who owns a gun (legally) and has a c/l will shoot instead of avoiding a situation.

Well the only machine gun ive ever fired was a styre when i was in the army reserves in australia here.. And the recoil aint to bad.. Its nowhere near as bad as a saw down 22.250 or as we call em the old Jungle Carbine hehe
