You can do it on your own server if its a windows server, and you get the DRM SDK from microsoft, which is a BIG pain in the ass to get. Email me info at sitedepth.com if you want details

DRM is totally a third party solution.

DRM is time consuming and you also have to a WINDOWS(HACKABLE) Server.

i may be wrong but i think i read on microsofts site in order to get a server license you have to fax them abunch of documents and shit.. Seemed like a real hassle.

Has anyone here actually setup their own server?

Yes I set it up and it is a BIG hassle. You have to obtain 2 separate security certificates from Verisign, fill out a contract telling them what you will be using it for, sign 2 copies and mail it to them, and only then do they review your application. All in all it took about a month to get just the SDK, which you then have to use to program your own system.

You don't have to do any of that with our system. It works with MPEG and AVI videos (there are enough MS resellers for WMV stuff out there).

Installation and maintenance is very easy (we do it all for you), and using the system is a breeze.
