it's not ergonomically correct. you're going to get massively severe carpal tunnel, and a permanently crooked neck. your wrists will be permenantly disfigured like a "special" person.
edit: i used to have an office chair that wasn't very good for my desk chair, and it literally was OLDER THAN ME. no bs. loud, noisy metal thing with crappy cushions that i fell over backward in more than once. but i upgraded
Originally posted by RedShoe I like to lean waaaaay back, and scoot way under the desk. Ahhh... nice, and relaxed. I've fallen asleep in that chair many, many times.
Holy shit where did you get that chair??
I've been looking everywhere for a chair that will let me lean back. My chair now keeps pushing forward and bothers my back.
I've been sitting on a wooden kitchen chair for atleast over a year. I had a swivel chair but it died and I just never replaced it. It is good for my back but really my ass would rather something with a bit of padding.

I told you, it's a custom job.

None. It doesn't tip over. It just leans back really far. Seeing the photo makes me realize how very close I am to tipping over. Look at those front wheels those fuckers are barely hanging on.

I've got the Signature Management deep contoured seat from RelaxTheBack.com - more pricey than a Staples model but has served very comfortably for years now.

I had one just like that until recently. It was loud and heavy. My wife's grandfather used it in Germany during WW2 as an Army Engineer. That with the standard 'bomb-proof' desk were part of my office for a long time. Finally traded for some modern furniture.
oh yea im on a $99 chair from Office depot, it crapped after a year the back padding is fucked, went tottaly flat and has no support. Now it started to squeak like a mofo every time I turn, not to mention the bolts breaking like they're made from sand. Good thing there's wall behind me
