Granted, there is some photography going on out there that could look a lot better with a few basic techniques. I agree with you. But even the extremely amateur photos have value as far as niche markets go.
For example: You would agree that most papparazzi carry fairly expensive camera equipment with high-powered zoom len's and built-in filters etc...... yet why are 99% of celeb photos of such shitty quality?? There must be a demand somewhere for it, and the amateur and voyeur market is no different.... all of them come with real demand.
It is the fucking idiots that sit there and criticize a model as if their own shit doesn't stink that gets me laughing.... "she's too this" or "she needs more that" etc...... who do these fools think they are? Someone needs to tell them that it's not about what THEY like, it is about what the millions of surfers out there like. Obviously there is a big difference in what some of these retards like and what the surfers will pay for. As webmasters we should be thinking outside of our own micro craniums a bit more than we do.
