    Hot Deal: 18" Sony LCD Flatscreen Monitor - for $399!

    After about a week of research, I just bought an 18" Sony LCD Flatscreen Monitor.

    I got it through PriceGrabber for $499 w/free shipping - and there's a $100 rebate on it now too.

              I was about to say that you can get a 19" Flat Screen at Wal-Mart for $188 but you meant a Flat PANEL. $399 is a good deal on that even I DO have to get off my lazy bum and remember to send in a rebate coupon and I trust the HELL out of Sony ever since my husband left the handset to our Sony cordless phone on top of the car and a mile down the road it fell off and we ran over it with the car... and it STILL WORKED! We buy Sony anytime we can now.

                  sony has always been the #1 for monitors.. cant believe that one is so cheap. good find!

                                                      That is a great monitor but since I have a dual screen setup (and no way in hell I am going back to a single screen) I find that border (with speakers and all) to be too thick. I'd prefer a monitor with no border at all. The thinest I found so far was on a Mitsubishi 19".
                                                      I couldn't possibly know what I'm talking about, I'm completely, absolutely and definitively out of my fucking mind.

                                                          Some Dell's have very thin borders, their 19" is quite thin I think and their monitor quality is getting quite good.
