New Terminator 3 movie....pretty good!

Went to a special screening last night...unbelievable effects but the storyline was a bit strange. In true terminator style, it was a setup for T4 (which Ahhnold has already committed to). Awesome car sequences, I've never seen so much destruction!

No to mention the chick terminator was gorgeous.

Ahhhnold was actually there, giving a little speech before the viewing (he's unofficially running for California governor in 2006).

He'll be back....

Can't be any worse than some of the other craps that's come out this summer. Does it get released this weekend, or for the 4th of July weekend?

Only thing I'm worried about is that T3 is NOT directed by James Cameron (first two Terminators, Titanic) and is instead directed by the guy who did U571, a pretty mediocore sub movie. But I will hold out hope that he has a stroke of genius or something with T3. And hopefully Cameron kept a close eye on him during the shoot.

I don't like rating movies or reviewing them. Movies are subjective, what you like someone else could hate and vice versa (although is there anyone here that will enjoy the new Kelly Clarkson/Justin Gaurini movie?). ;-)

James Cameron was there...maybe seeing whether his were better....

I agree, which is why I rate movies on 3 to 5 different scales.

1) Standard A movie scale, which is basically the scale that most everyone else uses.

2) Strict A movie scale, which is my strict rating for A movies. A high rating here means it's a favorite A for me.

3) B movie scale. I'm a B movie fan.

4) Adjusted A movie scale (and occassionally adjusted B movie scale), which is basically my rating for bad A movies that "grow" on me.

5) Mood movie scale. High ratings here mean it's a great feel good movie, perhaps even relaxing, even if it's an action movie. Something you can enjoy over and over but can also use for hypnosis.
