            In reading over this thread, I'm afraid I'm still going to have to go with Bonzo. Anyone who's ever seen either the old vid of "Moby Dick" and his solo, or seen Led Zep live would suredly rank him right up there, if not #1.

The problem is, he is using an open snare, no spring/coils/strings whatsoever. I don't know if he thinks it sounds cool or not but I think it sounds like my ass after a night of nachos.
