    General Q About Sales Stats

    Hey...wondering if anyone can help me out since I don't do this a lot...

    I did a BYOT linking directly to the join page. The stats show almost 500 "RAW HITS" to the join page but only 4 Uniques. The 500 "RAW HITS" is consistent with what I sent to that page, according to MY Server logs for the tour I built, which I am hosting on MY server.

    How fucked up is that?!? What does that mean? What causes that?

          So, you are saying that there were 500 clicks tracked, both by you and the sponsor, but the sponsor claims only 4 uniques? It sounds like either your traffic came from a hitbot, or their way of tracking "uniques" is odd.

              Clicked what? The only page they are hitting is the join page. As I said, the tour is on MY server...the only stats that would be showing up in the program's admin would be the hits to their join page. IF the join page is getting 500 raws, why is that only 4 uniques? Unless the surfer is refreshing the join page 99 times each.

                      Hitbot wouldn't make sense to me. The number of raws is climbing in direct proportion to the number of people exiting the last page of my tour on my server. The program's admin is showing the raws and uniques...it's about exactly 100:1. I will know "for sure" when I actually hit 500 raws...it will be interesting to see if my uniques climbs by 1
