    Is this a scam?.. Anybody know who this is?

    Recieved this by e-mail..
    I dont know who webquest is but it could be a corporate name for some aff. program
    Anybody know who webquest is?

    We run a report to verify the social security number/Tax ID on each wm?s account matches the payee name: (This is required by the IRS) In addition, we also verify age; to ensure each Webmaster that joins our affiliate program, is at least 18 years old. Your report came back with zero information. Unfortunately, I have to ask you to either fax and scan me your driver?s license and a credit card. You can black out your credit card number if you wish to provide that. If we allow you to maintain as an Affiliate, and you are under 18 years old, we may have a problem with the IRS when they audit us.



    I am sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your compliance.



    Please notify me of your intentions as soon as possible.

      I would not give out that info in a email... they should call you for that type of info... dont they have your phone # on file?

                                      Webquest runs both CashQuest2 and Flyntdigital. TaxID/SSN numbers are very important and Webquest strives to ensure we do everything by the book according to the IRS. I'm sure you can appreciate the necessity of this.

                                      It sounds as though the TaxID/SSN on your account does not match your name. You might have made a mistake when submitting your info?

                                      Please email Chris to verify the TaxID number and name to make sure it is correct. Beyond that, if the info Chris has is correct, I would assume there are some messed up records on you, and Chris has to verify your age in a different way (ie: credit card, DL)
