    Joining WMV and MPEG Files

When you join a movie that is split into several WMV or MPEG chunks does it mean the files get compressed again?

What's a good WMV joiner tool?

    Thanks
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

hi jovigirl, we decided not to use the mouth on the logo.

i found a shareware movie joiner, only thing i can't tell is if it just joined up all the segments or if it also compressed the movie again. I think i can see some loss of quality which would mean that there was compression but i'm not sure.

No, it is just split between files. http://www.tmpgenc.com. I recommend that!

The wmv joiners I have been using do no recompression from what I see, like

http://www.doeasier.org (they never answer emails btw)

          and

          http://www.boilsoft.com/avi-mpeg-rm-joiner.html
(they do answer emails and it works well)

BTW if you are doing mass converting hope you have the batch encoder.
