LOL, I have like 6 songs on my PC. and that was the first one I tried. I used it because the edit matched most of the beats.

Trust me if I could compose... I would.

it was pretty fucking cool.

i would have spent less time with each object, i wanted to see more diffearnt shapes. items, textures, etc

The Detachable Penis



I woke up this morning with a bad hangover and my penis was missing again. This
happens all the time; it´s detachable. This comes in handy a lot of the time; I
can leave it home when I think it´s gonna get me in trouble, or I can rent it
out when I don´t need it. But now and then I go to a party, get drunk, and the
next morning, I can´t, for the life of me, remember what I did with it. First I
looked around my apartment, and I couldn´t find it, so I called up the place
where the party was, they hadn´t seen it either. I asked them to check the
medicine cabinet, because for some reason, I leave it there sometimes, but not
this time. So I told them if it pops up to let me know. I called a few people
who were at the party, but they were no help either.

I was starting to get desperate, I really don´t like being without my penis for
too long. It makes me feel like less of a man, and I really hate having to sit
down every time I take a leak.

After a few hours of searching the house, and calling everyone I could think
of, I was starting to get very depressed, so I went to the Kiev and ate
breakfast. Then as I walked down Second Avenue, toward St Mark´s Place, where
all those people sell used books and other junk on the street, I saw my penis
lying on a blanket next to a broken toaster oven - some guy was selling it! I
had to to buy it off him. He wanted 22 bucks, but I talked him down to 17. I
took it home, washed it off, and put it back on. I was happy again: complete.

People sometimes tell me I should get it permanently attached, but I don´t
know. Even though sometimes it´s a pain in the ass, I like having a detachable
penis.

This was inspired by you by the way, after we last spoke yesterday. I call it "The music video/editing/art discussion of 2003."

It was great talking to you also. But what i suggest is to get to know some of the local bands in your area and sit down for a serious project. All the work you do may not be lost and you will find more artists wanting to contact you do work on a project.

I met with some of the artists that will be working on the new sound track for Cirque Du Soleil . I am going to begin working on some videos based on some of the percussian and music they use.

I am also meeting with another musician from New York to begin our next music video.

There isn't too much around here to shoot. A dying tree was about all I found. That or a brick wall. LOL


The inspiration (outside of Dugmor) was the band Tool. I worked on one of the earlier videos, Adam Jones used to do special fx, and so I really like his style. That over exposed, choppy, flickering, jumpy cutting style.

I like Dugmor's idea of shooting a video for a local band... but I live in LA, where am I going to find a band?

Good work, really enjoyed it.

The only hint I have is if you are going to add music instead of looking for a song that has similar beats to your editing, pick your song first and changing the editing to match the beats of the song.

I found that works easier

but hey.... detachable penis is a great song.......

LOL, you're right. I've edited all 40 of the collegefuckfest trailers, and every time I edit the song first (It's a 4 minute song that I chop down to 30 - 45 seconds. It's a little different every time. Then I cut the action to the beats.

And Nysus. I use VV.

Personally, I thought that sucked, but then you burned me by claiming it was "similar" to TOOLS

Which video camera did you use? Any experience with the PDX 10?

I have a Sony VX 2000. And sadly... I don't even know what a PDX 10 is.
