My rent is due tomorrow and let's see how close I am to having it... hmm. I have eight cents. That's close! I might have to dip into the $7 in my son's piggy bank.
In all seriousness, it's bad. Really bad. So much competition it's crazy, but everyone's gotta make a living somehow, so I can't begrudge anyone. I just wish I didn't have to lose income to the kids living in mom's basement who can work for $6 an hour because they don't have kids to feed and rent to pay like I do.
Oh well, "them's the breaks", I guess. I'm very happy for those of you who have steady jobs and those who've recently become overbooked. That's very inspiring to hear.
