Okay.
Next round of tips.
1) Always say you're going to do something once a thread hits "x" posts. Then don't do it.
2) Don't go overboard with the keywords. Only use 1 or 2 at a time. If you put too many nicknames in a title at once people will know it is a joke.
3) Believe anything you're saying even if it is completely insane. Then have your buddies back you up on it, even if they know it is BS too. It's important to have groupies back your bullshit up.
4) Donation threads are important. But only do this as a last ditch attempt at getting your name heard. NOTE: Your threads afterwards will be of no value, and receive 1 or 2 replies no matter HOW insane or intense, true or packed with bullshit it is. No one will want anything to do with you.
5) Call everyone "bro". If you make fun of someone, end it with ", bro."
Example: You are the buggest fucking loser, bro.
This makes it acceptable, and chances are the guy you are making fun of will add you to ICQ and you will become best of friends.
6) Sell domains. Even if they are .tv. Buy 2 or 3 worthless domains and sell them. After 4 or 5 sales you will become a "domain broker" and be an invalueable asset to GFY.
7) Don't reply to P1mpdogg's racist threads unless you want to get the shit kicked out of you. It's okay for Trey to be racist though... he's fucking cool.
8) Talk about tradeshows as if you were there. But don't actually say anything like "Dude I was there and that was a blast!"
Keep it general like "Such a blast!"
You will create a name for yourself very quickly.
9) Photochop pics of juicy, boneprone, grimshawn and aaronm. It's trendy and everyone should try it.
10) DO NOT above all things create a topic about technical advice unless you're willing to put "Quick $20 via paypal to an Armenian master coder" in the title as well. You will get absolutely no replies or views other than your own.
