    My contribution for today -- XYLITOL

    Ohh this is going to get a "SPAM!" for sure.


    But anyway... for you frequent gum chewers, or those of you who are cavity prone, or those would like not to be....

    do a little research on...

    Actually I liked this page a lot.. lots of info here.


    I've been reading about it for a couple hours now and its VERY interesting.

    My search started with a google search for ear infections allergies

    I've had this tinnitus which I thought was caused mostly by my head hitting the concrete awhile ago (freak skateboarding accident.) but then today, out of the blue my other ear starting ringing & I had NO HEARING in that ear for like 10 minutes... only the ringing. Spooky.

    Anyway.. I have a feeling it all has to do with allergies/mold/bacteria or something. I've been having really bad allergy problems for like 3 years now. Seeing allergist tomorrow.

    Anyway... read aobut Xylitol, its interesting.

    Probably a good thing to read about if you have kids too.

      Xylitol is my friend. I eat xylitol gum every day.. been chewing it for years too. I hope it doesn't cause cancer or anything. I'm too lazy to even click your link

                          Xylitol (a sugar) causes bacteria in your mouth/ears/throat/sinuses/wherever to bind to IT instead of to your cells. Theres tons and tons of research that has been conducted on it.

                          Apparently its also a good form of birth control for the same reason. Something to do with the outer lining of the egg has this sugar on it that the sperm is attrated to... so women would use it to sort of cut it off at the pass....

                          Ever heard of that TGF? Using it as a contraceptive?
