What's the next big thing and how can I get in on the ground floor?

The next big thing will be any idea that solves some of the problems this industry currently faces. Getting in on the ground floor is done through innovation.
Think about some of the sore spots this industry is dealing with and design business plans around solving them.
Personally, I think the resources needed to do alot of that are a bit out of my reach. So I work on new ideas that are easily executed. With the new technologies coming out there are plenty of chances to jump in on new revenue streams.Insert Value Here.Comment

What are your thoughts on the state of the industry in regards to billing models that we have. Think recurring will stick around or visa/mc or the processors will tighten up even more?

I think the next thing is the end of third party processors. I think visa will tighten up so bad that it won't even be profitable to process high risk transactions. I think the adult industry will also have to fight to be treated fairly in this area too.
I think everyone will be forced to have they're own merchant account, do their own fraud control, their own chargeback management, their own customer support, etc. Recurring won't go away. But we'll be forced to find ways to keep our surfers honest, and keep ourselves honest too.
