They can keep the mainstream internet the way it is as long as they don't fuck around with people who know how to get free shit. There's already some social darwinism going on with all the newbies on the mainstream net and people with enough brains to find free information. I'd like it to stay that way.
The more the mainstream net is regulated the more money webmasters will make. I just don't like that Metallica sue the world bullshit. I don't think any of those shitheads in Metallica could find the power switch on a computer. And there's always gonna be idiots just as stupid as them who'd rather just buy the cd than learn how to use a computer.
First there was cassete tapes then vcrs and now computers. Every time there's a new medium to record copyrighted material the lawyers come out. And after all the bullshit dies down those fuckers who sent out their lawyers are making even more money than before.
