    Damned CAT!

Just to preface this: I do not LIKE cats too much, that is why I have dogs...

I had 2 make up brushes and a diamond pendant on a platinum chain on my bathroom counter. No big deal, right? WRONG! The diamond pendant was still on the counter (I have since put it away) and I found the make up brushes (one in David's office, the other on the kitchen floor) but the platinum chain that held the pendant is GONE! I cannot find it ANYWHERE! ARGH!

Cats are awesome. I love mine...especially when they are bad. They terrorized my mother-in-law when she stayed with us...kept stealing and hiding her expensive watch and jewlry. Couldn't have worked out better if I had trained them.

My husband has a cat that he won't let me get rid of. I've always loved cats, but ever since we met and I came to know his cat, I DESPISE cats. When she moved in, she started to poop all over my clothes, all over the carpet, even on the bed. She even RUINED some of my precious baby blankets and baby clothes herilooms that I was saving. She'd get into the trash cans and drag crap all over the house. She'd jump up on counters and knock dishes off in the middle of the night. Aargh! And my husband won't let me put her stinky ass outside because he's afraid something will happen to her. (Good riddance, I say, but he loves the stupid hairball.) I wish this cat was like 15 years old instead of 9. *sigh* I have a feeling she'll be around alot longer than I would hope.

I've also come to dislike dogs, too, which I once also used to adore. I'm sick and tired of neighbors who let their mutts run loose even though there is a leash law. They get into my trash cans, they dig up my flowers, they poop on my lawn, they growl at me in my OWN yard... If they can't keep them at home, they don't need to have them. Grr.

I wish I could like animals again. I really do. But I'm afraid that boat has set sail for the Bermuda Triangle never to be seen again. *sigh*

Anyway, PLEASE tell me you haven't turned the water on in your bathroom. If you haven't, you MIGHT be able to get a plumber to find the chain in the drain. It sounds like the cat might have been chasing the chain around the counter and swatted it into the sink.

Try it anyway. If you're really careful you MIGHT still be able to find it at the bottom of the U shaped part of the drain under the sink. That really is the most likely place for it to be.

If I was a bitch I would be throwing hamburger laced with antifreeze in my trash like this guy that lived down the street from me when I was a kid used to do. He ended up killing like 15 dogs in the neighborhood, and a few cats, too. And back then, there were no laws against such things, because the animals were on HIS property. I could do that, but I won't, because I have a heart. If I was a bitch, believe me, my husband's little furball would have met her maker ages ago when she ruined an heirloom baby outfit and blanket... the blanket used in all my baby's first photos and the outfit that my babies all came home from the hospital in. Instead, I buy her food, I buy her medical supplies, I keep her stocked with some toys... would I do that for a cat I dislike so much if I were a bitch?

I don't want to hurt any animals, I just want their owners to be more fucking responsible for them. I don't let my kids run all over their yard trashing everything in site, so why should they let their dogs do it when there are laws against such things?:

More likely I'll go "animal control". If I get pushed too far I'll probably just call the pound. But I'd have the decency to let the animal control workers know who the owner of the animal was so that they could contact the owner instead of the possibility of it being put to sleep. Maybe if the owner has to pay $100 or so to get the animal out of the pound he'll learn to keep it at home. Besides, if they don't care anymore about the animal than to let it run loose in the streets where it could be shot, poisoned or hit by a car, they don't need it anyway.

I have three dogs (plus the poop head). NONE of my animals are allowed out without being on a leash, I pick up ALL of the poopies and barking is frowned upon in Kastle Kayla!

                                            Good for you, Kayla!

Wish there were more like you.

And I wish you lots of luck finding your necklace. Hopefully "the boy" will be able to find it when he gets home. Hehe.

I don't let my kids run all over their yard trashing everything in site, so why should they let their dogs do it when there are laws against such things?:
ok.. you got a point. i apologize.
