Is this a way to encourage traffic and ad impressions to GFY?

If this guy is a mod under another nick he needs help understanding business.

Its pretty weak to do that.. and anyone in adult that doesnt have a popup controller installed is not an idiot. how do you check your own sites and paysites or if your sponsors are redirecting you to a popup hell etc?
