Any musicians here?

I've been singing playing guitar since 1975, and have been learning keyboards for the last couple of years (SLOWLY!) ... never been in a money-making band, but want to maybe get into a paying weekend gig kind of thing... wonder if anyone out there from Florida (treasure coast) would be interested....

And, other musicians... let's hear from you! I'll bet there's a ton of talent on this board... oboes, tubas, harmonicas, piano, jew's harp... whatever... post your talent!

I can play "Three Blind Mice" & "Cockles & Muskles" on my flute. On my little keyboard, I can play "Three Blind Mice," "Cockles & Muskles" & "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star." Of course, I can play my own compositions on both instruments.

One of these days, I'm going to buy either a set of bongo drums or a fiddle. I would also love to find pan's flute so I can make the music of love

I have been playing guitar since I was 6, can fake bass and drums ( my last girlfriend taught me about faking it) and play in a couple of different Hardcore bands here in Toronto

Well I have a Les Paul Custom 29th aniverassary, with a music man 4-10 amp. I'm an old rock & roller, Chuck Berry, Stevie Ray Von, Clapton, Skynard.....
Those were fun days.. I wish I had the time to still play, even if it was just on weekends, ... Damm I miss my early years

I play at those "EVIL" raves some times ... $500/show.. easy money, just gotta throw some vynle on the table and beat match it, and cut the shit out of it.
Most of the people are soo fucked on drugs they don't notice when your beats falter. Which is good for us novice "DJ's" hehe.

It's fun shit though, i can be stark raving pissed off and once i mix for a few hours i feel like gold! Good stress managment for me!

I started out playing piano and keyboard, but kind of bored me. Then Imet up with some guys 2 years ago and they had an extra acoustic. I just listened closely and just played it out. Then they handed me a bass guitar and I rocked on it. I loved it. I did all the bass for like 8 months, I can play about 100 popular -or use to be popular songs. And I've written about 10

Chances are, you'll more than likely have to pay the house for allowing you and your band to get any stage time. But that's cool that you like to jam. Acoustic, electric or classical?

I moved in with a friend of mine that played guitar and when she wasnt home one day, I picked up the guitar and fucked around on it and within like 5 mins I taught myself how to play the opening part of "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica.

After that, I stopped! LOL

Used to play the piano and Clarinet as a kid. But not now.

I play guitar for 7 months now, i dont create anything original just play with tablature things of iron maiden, metallica and such.

Sometimes i play with a friend of mine who comes here and we play 2 guitars things and that is awsome.

hm i used to play on keyboard when i was 8-9 year old but i dont remember anything from it.

I fuck around with my Wiard modular synthesizer while I'm working on my sites, it stands next to my monitor.
Add to that my 909 and 808 and lotsa fx, compressors ,tubes etc and 2 akai samplers and you can understand why my neighbours hate me
