bake, you are right... say john lennon got all his writing skills after he broke up with a girl in highschool... if this doesn't happen, he won't write, etc...

cloning would be a interesting way to figure out what types of behavior are genetic and which are learned.

for instance: if john lennon's father hadn't left him when he was little or had he not watched his mother get killed by an automobile...would he have been a poet?

or if hitler's father hadn't beat him every day of his young life, or he had been encouraged as a painter, would he have been well, a monster?

My child did not meet her father until she was 8. yet, she still had his mannerisms and even his taste in foods. how can this be?
