It's cool. I don't know if you are a newbie to THIS board or a newbie to boards in general. Posting at any board takes a lot of learning as to the ettiquette and the acceptable way of relating to fellow webmasters. I didn't know if you knew this or what. Everyone here has posted at some board or another and made mistakes....major mistakes for some LOL, Just thought I would ,in a gentle way, let you know what going to get you answers and friendships. If you are a vet than excuse this message. But if not...a few things I have learned....
Boards are absolutely...absolutely invaluable to us adult webmasters. We develop relationships with people that help us and we return the favor whenever and however we can, this is important, the wheel wouldn't spend with takers and no givers
. Without this, going at it alone means signing up with sponsors that have already been known to not pay, buying proggies/scripts that are not the best of quality or don't work at all, not being able to find quality trades, etc, etc.
You probably are not a newbie, just a newbie to this board, so pardon my quasi-tutorial as I'm sure you know this, but just in case...
Tips:
Try to stay away from pissing contests unless you feel VERY strongly about it, I don't follow my own advice in this instance LOL.
Never jump to conclusion about a sponsor not paying you and then post it everywhere. Sometimes shit happens and bad mouthing a sponsor in public is a last resort and only if you are 100% sure they are a cheat and only if you think your friends could benefit from this info.....one late check does not fall into this category LOL.
And above all support your fellow peers, we can offer a lot in the way of knowledge and experience that will only benefit you if you are deemed one of the good guys.
Now this being said, I'm sure Wizzo, Tanker and Lensman would agree...this board is the best for fuckin' around. We do so love to have fun. This is not a hard ass, business only kinda board, which is why we love it so.
So have fun, fuck off, and above all support your fellow peers. You will be rewarded with fantastic business and personal contacts and hopefully a friendship or two.
