    Quickest Way To Lose possible clients

    Web sites offering free samples, then the visitor clicks the link for a free sample and gets nothing but the sign-up page. You're not going to win customers this way people, you're just going to piss a ton of people off. Offer a fucking sample for christ sakes, usually people want to see what they will get before signing up. If you don't want to offer a free sample, then DON'T FUCKING SAY YOU DO! ( sorry pet peive of mine)

    Also, can we stop all the god damned popup hell scripts already? Do you honestly think this shit gets you business? Sure, it will up hits to said site by force, but no clients gained in advertising this way. You're just PISSING PEOPLE OFF! (whoops, another pet pieve of mine)

      welcome to GFY - interesting first post

      problem is that too many webmasters listen to too many webmasters and dont think like a surfer anymore in what they want.

      giving free stuff and doing tricks like that doesnt work anymore - over 51% of americans are on high speed now meaning some are getting a bit smarter, and they are staying away from any links that lead to pop up hell.

      Just give them quality and creativity - the word will spread
