    The whole point to this thread was to show a sample of my work.

    To show people what I can do, not for people to tell me the ins and outs of designing.

    A normal gallery design I'd do would not be that advanced.

    We'll see how well my galleries convert when the STWOF Contest ends

        300KB galleries may convert great .. but will be closed before loading by many surfers ..
        I dont think anyone is trashing your design skills , but sales , marketing and optimisation are a whole other area of design that are needed too.

        a 80kb gallery that is JUST as nice will be seen by every surfer .. without the risk of being closed due to loading time .. the adult market is picky enough

        with the internet being as effecient as it is ( especially adult ) surfers just wont wait .
        Tgp galleries are often viewed in the same way people watch TV .. they just keep clicking till they find what they want ..
        now imagine your flicking through TV and you gotta wait like 30 seconds for the channel to load .. would you change the channel ?
        SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                    You showed a 300kb gallery sample .. what can you expect ?

                    The gallery looked fucking tight .. but its TOO damn big .. and if you are going to post a gallery as a sample you will want to post a " SAMPLE " not a sample that is 200kb bigger then one of your actual galleries ..

                        I take criticism fine thanks...It's just when people write things and try to make my design look bad or that it won't convert when they have nothing to base it on...that's kind of irritating.

                        Or when I post that it's a sample and can be easily optimized by 100-150k and people continue to write saying how big it is, that's annoying.

                        Also I did write you and you didn't reply back. My message was sent to you at 2:56pm(est)...look at your history.

                                            Second thought. You say you've been in this business a long time and have a proven track record but you wanted to clean house. You've got a new name a new website and now, one gallery sample that took you a couple days to build. I know because I'm the one that kept asking you for a sample last week which you never produced. Now you've got one and it's too big. You say, 'oh but it's only a sample.' Why the hell would you post a sample that you knew was too big if you could optimize it to be half that size?

                                            If you had a successful business with a rep why would you start over and now have to prove to everyone that you're established and can back up what you say? What are your running away from? Could it be because of those cheap poorly desinged galleries that you mentioned?

That price was $25. Now his galleries are $50 unless you want the stripped down version for $35. So, what I want to know is what kind of crap would I get for the $25 he claimed he would do them for?
