As a longtime player of Dungeons & Dragons, I always had to make names for my characters. One day the gamemaster wanted to create ourselves as characters. I was always partial to bards (along with druids) so I combined the first three letters of my first name & the first three letters of my last name. Jamdin became my nickname ever since & I play him in every game I play for good luck.
As for Jamdin's lady love, Esmore, her name is a combination of the last two letters of my first name & the last four letters of my last name. For more about Esmore, check out
