I believe it's because he is in the video as well and he own's it...I watched him the other day on something where Diane Soyer (sp) asked him about not having to have her permission. My guess would be this:
The first tape came out because it was stolen. Then, people (Hilton people) started saying Paris was all fucked up, knocked out, drugged, etc....
So, in order to "clear his name" he can release the tape. In a way, it becomes a news story. I don't know the law, but that would be my guess.Comment
