friggin' FedEx should have delivered a package today, have been waiting all day!

Oh man just when I was going to root for FedEx they screw me over like this. I've been tracking a certain package since it departed last friday and it was loaded on the vehicle for delivery this morning.

I called CS and they told me they deliver till 8pm in my area and it WILL be delivered before that time. well guess what it's now past 8 and I have been up since 9am waiting for the damn package.

What do I do now??? I've made sure there was someone to receive the package at ALL time doesn't that mean they have to at least cover expenses for sitting at home all day?

Nope. The most they will do is reimburse or credit the shipping charges, and that is only if the delay was what they consider their fault. They dont honor their money back guarantee for anything weather related or things considered beyond their control.

hmmm well I just tracked it again and now it displays a "failed attempt to deliver". At that time I was out to get some groceries but put a (fairly big) sign on the door that FedEx could deliver to the neighbours instead. Is it usual that they ignore such things?

I'm just disappointed that I have to wait another day while I did everything I could to receive it today.

I think they need you to sign for it.

I like Fedex. I've never had a problem with Fedex.

They would never do that because of liability. It is similar to how some scams are run.

Why dont you sign a waiver with them - that way they will leave it outside your door if you are not home

Never waited a whole day...Is it so important? Anyway what I normally do is just go out, and then they will leave a paper. Then you can call to make an appointment, and I make an appointment for a 3 hour period, so I only have to stay home for 3 hours

I only wish he had left a note like they normally do. I didn't knwo they came around till it was added to the tracking # on their website (after 8pm!) so basically I wasted my entire afternoon waiting for someone who wouldn't come either way
