Final Word on Copyrights

As a young, black, american I would like to see some changes in copyright law. In this so called "information age", all the information is just that: aged.

If you take a look at this link:
http://www.ul.cs.cmu.edu/webRoot/Boo...g_Etext_Books/

you'll see what you can download at the world's internet library. As you can see everything pre-dates world war 2. If your a student most of this information is useless. Unless your majoring in history.

I don't think copyright laws shouldn't exist on the internet but I do think that copyrights should be shortened to five or ten years like a patent. I think thats more than enough time for a content provider to profit from his work.

As for the rest of us that would mean alot of scans from old porn mags. I think if the world had scans from old porn mags the world would be a nicer place.

Can you argue with that Skitz? I know you would love to see that ol' playboy you found in your dads closet again, eh?

Peace to the middle east.
