Domain appraisal please ? ( livesexcinema.com )

Hello!

Might I have an appraisal for the domain name livesexcinema.com to an end user please?

The domain is undeveloped and NOT for sale at the moment.

I do understand that appraisals like this is very hard, but just some kind of approximation would make me very happy.

To someone who wants to design a paysite, this domain might be worth as much as $500. If you build traffic to it first then try to sell it, you might be able to pickup a little more for it. You never know though, I've sold three word domains for as much as $4000 before when someone really wants it and contacts you first.....

Yeah, I will hang on to it since I am in no rush to sell it, and let the buyer come to me.

What is the basics of building trafic in this case please? (would be happy even for some keywords, so I can search on this forum about them).

What is considered "traffic"? 10 hits day/100 hits/day etc. ?

unless it's the most obvious domain ever, it really has no high name value beyond how much you develop it.

look through an expired domain list - lots of excellent domain names that sound catchy and like someone would buy them for their instant hook...

...and they would, if it were 1998.

run them through one of the programs and you will see that very few have any links or traffic--and with yahoo listings being near worthless and google's reform of pagerank, well, not much value on a name alone.

I see a few dozen names expiring each day that sound catchy, but unless you put your 100% effort into developing it, it will never be worth much more than $8.95.

100 daily if it were type-in or bookmark, 1000 daily if from other sites?

Design it, get it functional and you can find a buyer for 300-1k depending on how stupid the person is. Name isnt worth much, its the development

Would a big link collection to sites that has liveshows be a good solution please?

what you're asking is really two seperate questions...

if you want to set it up as a link list, through reciprocals and regular updates you might get some regular quality traffic.

then, if you have regular quality traffic, complete with a quality link list with regular updates set up (and plenty of reciprocal links), you could very well find a buyer.

but, if you could develop it to that point, you'd make much more selling banners and sponsored listings, not to mention referrals...

first thing I would do is check who else is doing this sort of thing and whether or not they are successful.

but it is going to take A LOT of work to get it to the point where the cash flows in... if you spend to market it and buy some spots though, you could accelerate the pace a bit.

out of curiosity, and this isn't meant to sound snide, but did you think it all through or did you just acquire the domain and think the revenue stream would find you?

The last one, I just liked the domain name, and understood it probably could be used for liveshows.
