My brother in law just got a black one, I really like it. I suggest at least taking it for a test drive, it's a great car for the money. Or if you want to spend 75-80k, jump all over the XLR.
That XLR looks so tight. I think the factthat it's priced at 80k+ works against it cause it will be competing with Mercedez and some of the higher priced sports cars...

yeah and at the end of the lease you have some nice memories and nothing else to show for your money... anyway if you want something fast get a corvette z06... best bang for the buck at that price level... if you want a fast vert with some luxury the benz slk32 amg is nice

I've had alot of over $50k cars, I generaly get bored with them in 6 or 9 months
Just sold my H2 and bought a toyota spyder, sure is fun to drive... but i'm the kind of guy that really doesnt give a fuck what others think
I'm thinking about ordering a lotus elise next since they are starting to import them to the USA
Its like a dream come true... I fell in love with this car the very first time I saw one... And then Gran Turismo 3 teased me... but at least I could drive it there... now its coming here

The difference between what you paid for the lease and what you pay in depreciation when you sell is not very big, and some would rather not leave all that money invested in a car, I don't blame them.
I don't get financing a car. I won't purchase a car I can't pay for all up front. However, financing is great when you get a 0% rate on a cheap car, that makes sense. Good luck getting that on a 50k+ loan... why is it worth it again?
Does anyone here invest their money into other profitable ventures or is it all living hand-to-mouth bling blinging it up like it was 1998?

yep, the elise is one hell of a car. i want one too.
Problem is when it comes to cars I can't spend money on them.
They are for getting from A to B in reasonable comfort and no more. When we were looking for a new car I was thinking about a Merc or Audi, just did not think a car was worth that money.
The GT2 is 185..you can get a Twin Turbo for 120.. My dealer actually has one of each on the floor right now..a silver/black TT and a black/black GT2..
You might not be as anonymous as you think you are.

yeah, I absolutly love Viper's...I hate the new look, I think the old models before 2003 look so much better. The new ones look like a Hyundai. It lost the edge it had as far as looks.
