    Mainstream Laywer and Adult Biz

Has anybody had experience with using a mainstream lawyer that you know to manage legal affairs, issues, etc.. for someone receiving income from affiliate commissions?

How would you bring up the subject of your line of business and are most mainstream lawyers open to clients in the adult biz?

Lawyers are hired guns. As long as you do not ask them to participate in anything illegal they work for money. If a lawyer has a problem with working with you they will not accept you as a client.

Unless you're in the Bible Belt or something, the lawyer won't care. If you pay on time and in full you'll be his favorite client no matter what your business is.

Why bring it up in the first place? Hire an attorney who specializes in adult Internet law.

My advice is to seek out a general practitioner that is close to your physical location. You should be able to find one that is willing to work with you. Don?t bother with big corporate type law firms they don?t want your business.

so, would it be better to hire a lawyer that specilizes in adult internet law? Or someone close by that we can go see?

For mundane, day to day running the business stuff, id rather have a small lawyer close by. But, if im in a major obscenity trial, or first amedment case, you better believe im hiring the best lawyers out there!
