This reminds me of when people felt bad for SpaceDog and were sending him money and shit. I'm not sure if it was all a scam or if he actually was in need of help but he was a total jackass prior. The most money I dish out for people i don't know is some pocket change for a bum or a donation to an established charity. Everyone else can go to their friends and family for help, not some random acquaintance or stranger. I've lent money to people I've known for years and haven't got paid back in some cases.Comment

All in all 200.00 to me is alot of cash. In perspective its alot to anyone. To be honest though it is a cheap lesson. This by no means you have to be ultra cynical. You just feel your gut out. i bartered with him and got $100 for 30 days if i hosted it instead of him hosting for 60 days for $250. technically it hasn't really been long enough to say that he cheated me yet, but i'm not looking with hope into this incident.
and assuming he does get over on me, makes me feel like an idiot and i'm going to be a hell of a lot more careful with people i work with. been fortunate enough not to get got so far, guess i've been lucky. adds quite a depressing mood to an already shitty day. oh well i guess lesson learned. and it sucks, because i'm usually pretty good about decisions with money, and usually research the fuck out of things before i buy, but i was trying to "help a brotha out", he and i had talked before about content but i never bought. didn't have what i wanted at the time. i was also very, very tired. dammit.
