Mrs. RedShoe and I eloped 10 years ago today.
After knowing her for 3 months.
I asked if she would marry me, and she said "no."
I said, "why?"
She said, "I don't know."
I said, "well think about it."
She said, "for how long?"
I said, "for 2 weeks"
For the next 2 weeks I hounded her for an answer.
Finally she said, "FINE!! WHATEVER!!" (I took that as a yes)
She asked when and where?
I said "Right now."
She said, "ok."
We tossed some clothes in her little Honda CRX, and drove to Vegas.
I wasn't even old enough to gamble.
That was 10 years ago today, and everyday with her has been good so far... except when she's mean to me. I'm KIDDING!!
