What would it take to start another PartyPoker

My roommate's dad is a very wealthy individual and always looking to start new programs and especially to get his son and his friends involved. He told us that he would back the money to start another poker program, something like PartyPoker/Ulimatebet, but wants us to run the program and set it up.

How much do you think it would take to start a program like this? I'm guessing I'd have to hire a team of programmers and designers. Setup some deals with neteller and some other money transfering companies. Hire support, and a lot of advertising.

Seems like a lot of work, but the money would be AWESOME if it blew up. I mean, check out partypoker. They have a counter of how many hands they have played. I'm not sure if its total hands played or if it resets but right now its over 1,000,000,000, and say they take a 0.50 rake from each pot that's $500,000,000...not bad.
A blind man once stepped on Chuck Norris' shoe. Chuck replied, "Don't you know who I am? I'm Chuck Norris!" The mere mention of his name cured this man blindness. Sadly the first, last, and only thing this man ever saw, was a fatal roundhouse delivered by Chuck Norris.

If your friend's dad is serious, he'd need at least $10 million to $20 million to start. Rumours are that Party Poker's profits are huge, though ($300 million to $1 billion/yr).

I've got the perfect domain for him, if he's serious -- worldpoker.com Lots of other ones too, but that one is elite.

You'd need to go offshore, by the way. Gibraltar is where Party Poker's offices are, but there are other online casinos based in the Caribbean.
