Just using a 35 mm Nikon F4, with kodak portra VC film, and the ability to use natural light and some tungsten in the right manner.
They are placed on photo CD after processing negatives by our local photo lab.
Here is an example of a source image from the CD:

Hey Dax, you are right.. I have been thinking for a long time to move to a High End Nikon digital that will allow my Nikor D lenses to be used. But amongst the hardcore 35mm users, they tell me that the problem of hotspots/contrast is still an issue, and film (like Kodak Portra) gives the desired texture without the need to go airbrush or color enhance like you would with a digital image.
$4000 for a digital camera is a big expense, and is the only reason why I am holding back.Comment
