I think he's on to something...
It's 2:00AM, and he's testing the voltage of his house wiring, to perhaps locate the interference causing his home automation modules to work intermittently. He seems to have located the source, being that he's getting a steady flat line on his oscilloscope. Pretty soon he will find that the source of his interference is caused by that fluorescent light he's using, and he will need to switch to incandescent... or he will find that he needs to install a phase coupler on his breaker box, to bring the two 110v lines together. Last thing he may want to test is the refrigerator in the kitchen, since they are known to cause signal modulation interference on the lines.
