Never heard of Jordan gambling on basketball games, honestly. Not saying he didn't - he seems to bet as often as we all breathe in and out.
If he did, I could see Stern turning a blind eye (or covering it up). NBA money comes from TV, and #1 reason for ratings was MJ.
Not saying it's right, not saying it's fair. I'm also not saying Rose should be banned. I just think he shouldn't be allowed to manage, or be employed in MLB. Let him in the hall, just dont let him have any influence whatsoever in the outcome of a game.
