I think it's a good idea, I've thought about it myself a bit. I'd definately check it out, but I think you need to work on the design, (ebay it up a bit) First I think it needs more advertising space, maybe 3 or 4 button spots accross the botton or down the right side. And that big chunk of space in the middle I think could be better used, maybe a couple large screencaps for featured items, or big ticked items.

Just my to cents

but I think it could be pretty good!

Great ideas guys! I will put some money into it and make the design better and add features to it. It is totally usable the way it is now.

Oz, do you kow if there are any free ones out there? I'm doing this more as a nice free service, i think it would be fun and I always see people selling shit on GFY and doing their own little auction via ICQ.

The only other one i know of is for photos only and they charge 25% of the sale and collect the money for you. You then have to wait for the check

I have had a couple people tell me that, i also think it is a good idea, kinda like an adult elance..im sold on it and will do it. I'm a tad tied up the with montreal show, but i should have this thing done in a couple weeks!

they have come and gone. These sites don't work, unless you have something new to offer, or are better at marketing it then the other fucks that failed at running these auction sites.

im not too worries about it failing, it will not cost me anything really, just B/W and im not going to charge for it, so if people like it they will tell others. I will also buy some marketing.
