It is heaven on Earth, if you don't need anything the modern world has to offer.

There are no strippers, there are no bars, no clubs, no cars, no potable water, basically nothing!

My idea of paradise, is living in seclusion but having some sort of civilization near by that you can go to.

All of the private islands I have seen, run off of generators, if they have internet it is via satellite (which sucks), the 'help' lives in the compound with you, and basically is not paradise.

Find an island that has paved roads, and some sort of infastructure... then buy or rent a reasonable size estate. Doing it yourself on a vacant island is a colossal waste of time and money.

As for 'renting' an island, the best ones are in the South Pacific. Check out the Forbes Estate near Fiji. It has its own airstrip and is as close to paradise as it gets. No strippers, unless you are flying them in.

Mad Money - Paisano, talk to me on this. I would never steer you wrong. We like similar things, so trust me when I say, the private islands are not what you want. Come to the Caribbean and I will show you what is right and what is wrong, IMHO.
