That's cool..I'm also planning on getting involved in more 'mainstream' businesses as well which will hopefully do well. If anything, it's good to diversify anyways..

They could care less and I keep my shit all under lock and key here at the house. No one knows what I do and the kids just do their thing.

I'm only 20 years old. Far too young to be worrying about something like that.

If I was older and had kids, I think I'd be very hesitant to tell them. By the time they get older and start asking questions anyway I would hope to be out the business.

I agree..but would you want them to do what you do professionally, not morally. Like if your son/daughter said 'I want to work in your company' or 'start my own adult biz', ect..

Hmmmm not planning to have children anytime soon but i wouldn't tell them exactly what i do but would explain that it has to deal with net and hopefully retire buy the time they get old enough to understand.

i would tell them but not at a young age, i think a good time to tell them is when they are about 20 or so. But chances are that if they use the same computer you do or get on your computer they would find out.

I have two sons ages 13 and 14 years old. They have no clue what I do in the business.

I have been working in this business now for over 6 years and have kept it safely away from them. I will tell them when they are 18

Our son is 9 y.o. and he knows we do Web design and that's all. BTW, we also do lots of mainstream (non-adult) design so we always have something to show.

I believe all information should be age appropriate. My kids just know that I work with computers. I also keep some mainstream stuff for when their teachers start asking too many questions (actually, the ebook business is doing nicely now).

I try to be very concious of not being "the embarassing dad" to my kids. I keep a low local profile and keep conversation about things adult to a minimum.

They do know that sometimes dad works with "boobs and butts" but nothing more.

I wish I could get my son interested in what we do. We could use the extra set of hands.

He's 20 and capable, just not interested.

We shielded him when he was fourteen; but, by the time he was sixteen, he figured it out.

I'm not ashamed of what we do and neither is he. It pays the bills and allows me to be home.

My kids are only 6, 9 and 10... all boys, so T&A will be oh-so fascinating for them when the testosterone starts dripping...
