IMHO, I have my own view. I believe that God/Heaven is for the weak minded.
People need/want to believe that when they die they go somewhere else, somewhere more peaceful. They can't handle the thought of death, or nothing after death. This is when somebody came up with the religion shit! This is just my view.

Well, I am not going to interject my beliefs on all you GFY'ers but one thing that cannot be proven wrong is that you are in control of your own actions.
Whether you believe in a god, a monkey named Charlie Bean, or nothing at all makes no difference. If you were intelligent, your actions would be the same even if you could prove or disprove the existence of god.
At the end of the day, being "Good" has more rewards than being "Evil". In the long run, if you help society, society eventually helps you.

I probably would have believed in God right up until they said "worship" and stuff like that.
Once I was able to see for myself that every religion basically taught one message ("you suck unless you are one of us"), I quickly decided that religion really wasn't for me.
