    i want to buy a notebook - which one?

    i want to buy a notebook, but don't know which one...

    i want to spend $850 and it should have a 40gb hdd and at least p4-1,7ghz or higher + some good graphics, sound, 256 mb ram and a cd- or dvd-writer.

    please provide me with your offers and/or links to your products.

                              I just got an HP p4 2.4 ghz with 512 ram. Really nice. Also has the wireless builtin. 80 gig hard drive with dvd and cdrw

                              The only thing I dont like is that it drains the batter in about 2hous and 10 min. They told me that is normal for the p4...

                              The AMD with the same extras, the battery lasts 4 hours.

                                          The only good thing was I got a 3rd party warrently from CompUsa and they replaced it with a new one that's work fine. But I'm not real happy with Toshiba.

                                          I had an HP before that, nice product but the hardware started going after 6 months or so. Nothing major just little shit. The mouse button would doulbe click on one press.
