thanks for all the info. I was told to put heat on it and take motrin just as tam said. I can't swim, so swimming is out of the question.
I've had this pain before, but it usually flares up once a year and go away in a few hours. This time it's hurting for awhile. Each time this has happened it's been after my hands been in cold water. So maybe it's not carpal but something else. Before I get it checked out, i'm gonna get some work specific insurance. That way if i'm diagnosed with something it won't be a pre condition.
