I've got a good story, and it's even true!
I was sending a small amount of traffic to a program that owned a site called WhatAFreak.
They decided to close up shop and not pay anyone.
I noticed that EpicCash had bought one of their sites off them when they closed up so I asked him what the deal was with them.
After he heard that they didn't pay their webmasters he offered to pay their debt to me.
Pimpdog.
And fuck the original owners that stiffed me out of $100.
