Lightning - Doing this type of job has got to be one of the most interesting jobs out there. But I know what you mean by burning out. I feel that way everytime my stats don't show what I think it whould. (I mean, face it, we live and die by our stats right? Well, at least I do. ) I burn out ALL the time in my other job. I'm on call so my schedule sucks all the time. Sometimes I have to work two shifts at one time. It's a bitch and a half.

So what do I do?

I go to the local sporting goods store, buy myself 200 rounds of ammo, go to the local gun range and I blast my H&K, Browning, Beretta and my 'burn out' away. I usually think about my younger bro who's a cop and how he's got such a shitty job for what he makes a year. (42 grand is chicken feed.) And it doesn't help any that he's a rookie and gets to work in a gang infested area. I also think about my parents who will soon be unable to work (due to age) and how I (being the first born son) will be able to help/support them. I then think about my good buddy who's gf is a lyin' cheating whore and how his life is all fuckt up because he can't get his head out of his ass (whipt mother fucker). I then think about my gf who after all these years is still with me even though I haven't asked to marry her. Or even though I would rather concentrate on slingin' porn than progressing towards my medical career, she still supports me with whatever I do.

I then go home and spend the next hour cleaning them. I forget about EVERYTHING else goin on in my life when I clean my guns. I clean them thoroughly and repeatedly making sure they look brand new again. And when I'm done, I'm ready to tackle my life again.
