    Bathroom Reading

    My wife yells at me for spending so long in the bathroom but it's the one place in the apartment where I can get some good reading done. This is a guy thing, right? Besides, I have a lot of magazine subscriptions to get through:

    Outdoor Life
    Hot Rod
    Wizard: The Guide to Comics
    Mad Magazine
    Stuff
    Playboy
    Esquire
    Gear
    For Him Magazine

    The wife subscribes to:

    O: The Crappy Oprah Magazine
    some home and garden mag
    National Geographic

    But I never see her read them.

      No actually it is not just a guy thing.... when I used to read alot, I found the best place to do that was in the bathroom. NOW, I have kids and I don't seem to be able to hide in a damn place.... but when I was living with my parents, that was my only escape to go and read. So no it is not just a guy thing. LOL

      I miss being able to take a good Steven King book in and jump in a bathtub full of steaming hot water and just sit forever reading.

              Well, Stangster, I tend to 'take car of business', WIPE thoroughly, and then read. I don't know about the rest of you, but I find it very hard to focus on a book/magazine until after all the expulsions are over.
